A little late in the day but we’re extremely impressed with Riz MC from his tongue-in-cheek Post 911 Blues (see vid below) to his acting in Rage, Britz and Shifty (amongst others). Riz’s lyrical range is innovative, sharp, funny and insightful - check out RizMC on myspace HERE.
And now Riz is launching his debut album: As part of the Sadler’s Wells Svapnagata Festival curated by Nitin Sawhney and Akram Khan, go and see MICroscope Riz MC’s interactive album debut - Friday and Saturday 27 and 28th November.

Music is Life, Tanya Traboulsi’s atmospheric photographic exhibition of the Lebanese underground alternative music scene, last shown in New York, runs 14-20 November at the Pebbledash Gallery, Stoke Newington. The exhibition opens on Saturday 14 with a special performance by Beirut/Paris rock band The New Government. Part of the Lebanese Underground, The New Government are edgy, ironic and iconic – on election day in Lebanon, a vote for The New Government got you 5 of their tracks. Tanya Traboulsi’s images are evocative, intimate portraits of the wealth of undeground talent from rock/punk to electronica.Vital Statistics:Opening, Saturday 14th November 8pm-2am Tickets £8.
