Instrumental, experimental, electronic, eclectic oud players DuOud, Jean Pierre Smadj and Mehdi Haddab, are playing at the newly opened Kings Place as part of the London Guitar Festival. DuOud are known for their intense, tension filled tracks that mix the sounds of Africa and the Middle East with US/Euro techno synth punctuation. Point for point DuOud provide an original, laconic, cerebral sound which sometimes takes on a trance like dimension and other times takes you to blues and rock, all with a satisfying dry humour.
