Music is Life, Tanya Traboulsi’s atmospheric photographic exhibition of the Lebanese underground alternative music scene, last shown in New York, runs 14-20 November at the Pebbledash Gallery, Stoke Newington. The exhibition opens on Saturday 14 with a special performance by Beirut/Paris rock band The New Government. Part of the Lebanese Underground, The New Government are edgy, ironic and iconic – on election day in Lebanon, a vote for The New Government got you 5 of their tracks.
